Simon Clarke
Chief Executive Officer
Building a highly successful engineering practice doesn’t happen by chance. Simon started his career as a fresh faced 16 year old, at a local building services engineering business, being trained across all sectors establishing a complete understanding of every stage. Eventually ending up sitting on the board of directors. Completing his ONC, HNC and CED at Manchester University in building services engineering which has given him the foundation for the experience and knowledge required to enable to focus and support on any project.
With a group of colleagues and friends, he then decided to establish his own mechanical and electrical building services engineering business which is where he found his passion for high end residential projects. After a short sabbatical he decided that design consultancy was where his focus was and in 2012 established CSG from his study, focussing on the high end residential market.
It has gone from strength to strength, with a highly experienced team enjoying what they do best. The company has branched out setting up CSG Acoustics and CSG Utilities, allowing them to offer their clients the option to cover all design based needs under one business.
Simon is what you would call a true petrol head and can be caught on a few road trips. His love for property development, allows him to extend his eye for design further than just the art of pipes and wires, creating some stunning spaces. Paving the way for the newly established CSG Properties. Watch this space! But his biggest achievement is being a dad to his three amazing children.
